"My brother was a resident for just over 6months, he was admitted for end of life care. I live 3-4hours away from the care centre and when this was explained to the manager, she offered for me to stay at the centre whilst I visited him, which was amazingly kind and thoughtful. My brother received excellent care from all of the staff and he had a named nurse who kept me updated on his condition. All staff were kind and supportive at all times. Although my brother was bed-bound, the staff always ensured that he was included in any activities and events. I have no hesitation in recommending Barham Care Centre."

"My dad went to live at Barham almost a year ago. I was concerned about dad but the home reassured me that dad would be well looked after and he has been. Dad settled in relatively quickly. The staff have been very supportive coping with dad's needs and family updated with his progress. The atmosphere is very homely and you always feel welcome. I enjoyed my weekly visits spending time with dad and talking to staff. Unfortunately, Covid has made visits difficult but I know dad is being well looked after and we can ring if we are concerned. I would like to thank all staff at Barham for their continued hard work throughout these unprecedented times. It’s so appreciated."
