"The staff are very friendly, helpful and supportive to both my Father and to the family when we visit.
There are plenty of activities available for the residents and also outings on a regular basis.
The care home is always clean, neat and tidy."

"I liked the décor - there was always something to look at and many unusual things. All the staff were very kind and helpful."

"Our dad has been a resident here for 3.5 years. He now has late-stage dementia. I cannot commend the staff enough for how they have looked after him, particularly during the Covid pandemic when we were unable to visit him. We class Barham as his home. He is cared for well by carers and nursing staff. His dignity and treatment as an individual is maintained - despite his inability to do anything for himself now. I have noticed a change much for the better since a new manager. The staffing is more cohesive and there is certainly more going on for the residents with a full programme of activities. If you are looking for a hotel-style home I would suggest this isn't it. This is a warm, comfortable, caring home. He has always enjoyed his food and, despite him now being on soft food, it is presented well and he still enjoys eating it. Respect of each resident and member of staff is visible. The staff have all stepped up to the additional needs during Covid. Well done!"
