We all want the best for those we care about. For many, this means stepping in to offer personal, physical and even emotional support following an illness, injury or as older family members become unable to live life as they once did. Although this is honourable, taking on this task may not only be physically demanding but mentally tiring too.
Respite care can be a lifeline for carers, providing invaluable 'time out' from their responsibilities and allowing them to concentrate on their own health and wellbeing. Across our two centres in Suffolk, Kinly Healthcare can take over for a few hours, days or for weeks at a time, to help you refresh and enjoy some well-deserved 'you' time.
When you’re in need of a safe place to call home, to bring in as much of your own personal possessions as possible, we can offer you accommodation and 24-hour personal care and support when you are finding it difficult to manage daily life at home.
We offer services designed to give family carers a break from caring. This can be as little as a day, a week, or on a regular booking to ensure you as the family carer can have a rest and your loved one is supported to stay at home for longer. We can offer personal care, bath or shower, hairdressing, and chiropodist visits too.
To support each service user in living until they die is really important to us. The honour of ensuring that each service users’ journey is as dignified, pain free and supported, including families. We adopt a holistic approach to maintaining and enhancing quality of life and providing continuing support to families and carer’s pre and post –bereavement.
When it comes to Neurological conditions, symptoms can present themselves very differently. We tailor our care to suit each individuals specific needs.
The wellbeing of our residents and carers is always the most important thing to us and we tailor our services accordingly.
If your loved one needs round the clock care, our residential services allow for care and support day and night.
Especially when caring for someone close, many of our clients can feel a sense of guilt when choosing to step back. However, respite care only proves to benefit you and the individual under your watch. By working with our team of carers in Suffolk and taking a break when needed, you'll not only have additional assistance to provide excellent levels of support to the individual you care for but prevent burn outs down the line. Regardless of the duration of respite, you can rest assured our teams will provide the same level of care as you give and would expect. To enable us to do this, we'll construct a detailed care plan that outlines everything the individual needs to have the most comfortable and safe stay whilst with Kinly Healthcare.
"This home is very good, the best we have seen. My wife is 63 years old and has about 12 different visitors a week as she is young. The staff are excellent and all welcome us. We all can't speak highly enough of them even to the point they get to know the names of the visitors!"

"I would definitely recommend Baylham, I couldn't have asked for any better. The care was brilliant and the nurses/carers actually do care. Nothing was to much trouble and after spending months in hospital my brother was in a much better place thanks to the staff. Unfortunately, my brother passed away after a short while, but the care was second to none, with the help of Baylham he passed away with dignity and for that, I will be ever grateful. Thank you from all the family."

"My husband was well cared for until he passed away and he was kept clean. The bed linen was spotless and changed every day - nothing was too much trouble. He was tube-fed and could not take part in activities."
